On Saturday we woke up and got dressed and went to church. Before we went we took some photos. The sun was shining so we took some pictures.

Christchurch Eartquake

On Tuesday 22 February 2011, Christchurch was shaken by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake, of 5km depth, at 12.51 pm. Many people that were in the buildings are trapped inside. Christchurch is suffering through a tragedy of lost lives and collapsed buildings. People are lost, they don’t know where to go, and where to sleep. Some drive ways are filled with mud and yucky water from underground. It looks awful.
Little kids can’t go to school because the schools are closed and they don’t have clean water.
I wish I could help them with what they need. People have been killed by the falling buildings, unclean water can cause illness. I feel so sorry for the people of Christchurch.
There has been a great deal of heartbreak in many homes today.
